Counseling Services

As a student you're forced to make many decisions that will have long-term effects on your career. They can seem very intimidating if you don't have knowledgeable people to talk with or have access to the right kind of information. At LTC, we understand the pressures, stresses and uncertainties students face, which is why we've made our staff of career counselors available from 8 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Fridays. We have a Counselor available for walk-ins (no appointment necessary) from 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. Monday – Thursday. To find out which Counselor is available for walk-ins during a specific day and time or to schedule appointments with Counselors, please call 693-1162.

Our counselors will help guide your decision-making process by helping you evaluate your interests, aptitudes, values, goals, and employment experiences. After helping you find the profession that's best for you, our counselors will assist you in selecting the classes and schedule that will enable you to reach your goals.

Even if your concerns go beyond those related to career, we can help get answers for you. Personal counselors are here to listen and offer immediate help or properly refer you to agencies within the community that can best help you get through tough times.
