Lakeshore Technical College students recently boosted their employability skills at LTC’s fifth annual Job Seekers’ Boot Camp. International professional speaker Tom Terez of Workplace Solutions, Inc., Columbus, Ohio, served as the keynote speaker, advising the students about job searching. David Swanson, a nationally recognized professional speaker, career coach and author, conducted two breakout sessions. Students also interacted with 20 local employers throughout the day during formal presentations, workshops and informal question and answer sessions about strategies for a successful job search. The day’s topics included:
LTC survey results show more than 95 percent of students who participated in the Job Seekers’ Boot Camp found the presented information interesting and would recommend the event to other students.
