LTC to hold info sessions for working adults– Sheboygan

CLEVELAND, WI

Lakeshore Technical College will hold info sessions for working adults at its Sheboygan and Cleveland locations in upcoming weeks.

The info sessions will benefit individuals who work during the day and are seeking a career change or advancement. Each 90-minute session will start at 5:30 p.m. and will focus on specific programs LTC offers through “Evening College” classes.

An info session focusing on business and technology programs will be held March 27 at LTC Sheboygan, 3620 Wilgus Ave.

An info session that will provide an overview of all LTC Evening College programs will be held April 3 at LTC Cleveland, 1290 North Ave. The session will cover programs in business and technology, public safety, and trade and industry.

An info session focusing on public safety programs will be held April 8 at LTC Sheboygan.

Business programs include accounting, business management, information technology–computer support specialist, marketing, supervisory management and supply chain management.

Public safety programs include emergency medical technician–basic and nuclear technology. Trade and industry programs include farm business and production management, machine tool operation and industrial welding.

At each session, LTC Adult Learning Advisor Linda Fitch and program specialists will discuss LTC’s educational options, including short-term learning certificates, technical diplomas and associate degrees.

An overview of that session’s specific programs and the tools LTC offers to help prospective students will be explained. Topics will include: tools for choosing a career, financial considerations, college entrance exam assessment, counseling and advising, the application process and upcoming events.
