LTC, UW–Extension presenting dairy cow housing seminar

CLEVELAND, WI
Lakeshore Technical College and the University of Wisconsin-Extension are presenting a “Housing the Modern Dairy Cow” seminar.

The seminar will be held Feb. 8 from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Lake Michigan Conference Room in the Lakeshore Building at LTC’s Cleveland campus.

The seminar will cover issues critical to the success of dairy operations of all sizes, such as comfortable and cost-effective cow housing, well-designed facilities and electrical capacity planning.

The seminar will focus on facility limitations that may be impacting a dairy farming business’s bottom line. Presenters will include university and industry professionals.

The deadline to register for the seminar is Jan. 30, and the fee is $20. To register, call the LTC Registration Desk at 888-468-6582, ext. 1366, and ask to enroll in class number 25503.
