Lakeshore Technical College’s Lakeshore Chapter Student Nurse Association Executive Board members were recognized recently at the Wisconsin Student Nurses Association 59th Annual Convention in Wisconsin Dells. Board members include President Irene Buechler, Vice President Mel Schelk, Treasurer Laura Wilson, Secretary Laurie Lawrenz, Legislative Chairperson Debbie Bethke, Historian Diane Shevy and Student Advisor Sue Knier. The chapter was awarded third place in the School Spirit Awards for participation in conference events. Laurie Lawrenz also was awarded the Student Nurse of Wisconsin Foundation scholarship and was appointed to the WSNA Executive Board. LTC offers a nursing associate degree program and a nursing assistant technical diploma program.
