Early Aid Estimator

Lakeshore Technical College offers an early aid estimator to help determine your eligibility for financial assistance. The Student Aid Estimator is free, confidential, and best of all, you can complete it before deciding to apply for admission to LTC. Simply determine which form below applies to you and complete it.

Your completed Student Aid Estimator will be electronically submitted to the Financial Aid Office at LTC. In approximately two weeks you will receive an estimate of your financial aid package. Remember that this is just an estimate and you will need to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid to determine your actual financial aid eligibility for 2008-2009.

Dependent Student Aid Estimator Form Instructions for Dependent Form
Students who are first-time college freshmen or transfer students under age 24 will likely fill out the dependent Student Aid Estimator.

Independent Student Aid Estimator Form Instructions for Independent Form
If you can answer YES to any of the following questions, fill out the Independent Student Aid Estimator:

You were born before January 1, 1985.
You are a veteran of the US Armed Forces.
You will be in a master’s or doctorate program during 2008-2009.
You are married.
You are a ward of the court (or were until age 18) or both of your parents are deceased.
You have a legal dependent (other than a spouse) who lives with you and receives more than one-half of their support from you.
